We at Unioto High School work to maintain a clean, safe and orderly environment where our students can learn and our teachers can teach at their optimum. Extra-curricular activities are plentiful not only in athletics but the arts and in service clubs and organizations. There is truly something for everyone at Unioto and we encourage each student to take advantage of being a part of a performing group, club or team. That experience, coupled with a targeted sequential curriculum provides students with the tools necessary for success once they cross our stage as graduates and become Alumni.

Hi and welcome to Unioto High School, home of the “Sherman Tanks”. We believe the “Sherman Tanks” is one of the most unique high school mascots in the United States, as it is named after General William T. Sherman and the WW I Army training camp which previously occupied our campus, known as Camp Sherman. The tank, resembling the “Sherman Tank”, serves as a symbol of our strength and resiliency in athletics, academics and the arts. Our students commonly refer to us as simply, the “U”!
